Seems scary if you ask me.
I tried home brewing years ago, with kits starting, and it was messy, and really scary after my ex took after me. I let the fermentation of beer under the kitchen sink and the bottles exploded. Just in recent months, I became brave enough to try a kit beer or wine, although I have not yet purchased. Try it and let us know.

Hey thanks a lot for the information. I am new to brewing so reading everything that I can find on the subject. I recently bought my first beer brewing kit from craigslist and learning the trade now. My first batch was with one of the pre-made kits but it turned out not so good. Going to try again but using grain, supposed to be harder but hopefully it will turn out better.
